The published study No Vacation Nation by the Center for Economic and Policy Research found that “The United States is the only advanced economy in the world that does not guarantee its workers paid vacation.”

1 in 4 Americans do not receive any paid vacation, and for the Americans that do, they often have difficulty fully disconnecting from work. It is often just as common to see people bring their phones, and laptop computers with them as their bathing suit and sandals.
